Re: best places to eat &drink

In the Thailand the best restaurant for eating and drinking is "Kaidee's Vegetarian Restaurant . However, more like restaurants are also available  over there, so you don't worry a single bit and enjoy over there.
thanks

Re: best places to eat &drink

What I think the best hotel in Thailand is Vertigo Bar at Banyan Tree Bangkok - Bangkok, so you may enjoy your eating and drinking from this point.

Thailand is famous for palm trees and food, i think it would feel better top go with your husband and you will enjoy a lot, i don't think you will feel any difficulty to find some place to eat or drink, best of luck, enjoy

Re: best places to eat &drink

Restaurants that offer actual beachside dining along Phuket’s west coast belong to an exclusive and select group. One such establishment is White Box, on Kalim Beach. The Thainaan Restaurant is built in a unique architectural style, a blend of Northern and Southern Thai building styles. It is constructed mainly with teak wood. Here, we serve Thai, Chinese, Japanese and Western cuisines, from freshly prepared seafood to exotic delicacies. Located on the way to Patong Beach.

The main thing which people prefer for such stuff is Clean,Hygienic & reasonable in the rates.
So you should check these type of restaurants & cafes.

Re: best places to eat &drink

Watched last night with two Thai restaurants competing - Yum Yum from Stoke Newington and Simply Thai from Middlesex. Wife and sister loved it, also Gordon cooked from the Blue Elephant in Fulham (been twice, very nice, but not a small chek bin) for the Thai monks from the wat at Wimbledon. Good to see the head chief from Blue Elephant slating Gord's Phad Thai.

Well..i'm always on the look out for great places to eat, but sadly i rarely can stretch to the upmarket rooftop upper end establishment...if youre looking for a under 1000 per head sort of place, theres a great little restaurant half way down sukhumvit soi 11, directly opposite the entrance to Ambassador Hotel, called The Gallery, and the ambience is really nice, and ive never had anything other than tasty food served up...another little place just opened right at the bottom (in the dead end cul de sac) of soi 18, directly opposite the Town Lodge Hotel..they serve Japanese and Thai food, and its got some Japanese name..its nothing fancy, but i had 2 meals there and left very full and satisfied by the tasty food...waitresses were pretty tasty too laugh.gif
I am always interested to hear from other people with good recommends, as the eating can influence how good a time you have in a place i always think

Re: best places to eat &drink

My favorite restaurant in Phuket is Baan Rim Pa.  The view there is gorgeous, although it is a bit on the pricey side.  The decor is nice and the ambience in general is great.   They serve a great dish with rice noodles and coconut milk.

I'm always on the look out for great places to eat.  And for me  Dosa King is one of the best restaurant ever in thailand.  This is a vegetarian restaurant just off Sukhumvit Soi 11 has perhaps the best dosas in all of Thailand. The thin crepes made from lentil and rice batter are just the right balance of chewy and crispy. Their masala dosa, a dosa stuffed with seasoned potatoes and onions, is a menu favorite but they also serve plenty of other dishes. The restaurant is completely dry, so quench your thirst with one of their lassis or fruit juices instead of beer or wine
